Masashi Yamamoto Knives
Masashi-san launched his workshop in 2013. This happened right after he finished his blacksmithing apprenticeship at Yoshikane Hamono, where he trained alongside his older brother Kazuomi. Despite his young age, Masashi-san creates exceptionally beautiful and functional knives.
A fun fact is that he always works alone, hand-forging the blades, applying the grinds, and fitting the handles. Masashi is currently a completely independent knife maker and lives in Sanjo, Japan. His blades are simply worth paying attention to.
