Fujitora Industry Co. was the culmination of these efforts, officially founded in 1964. The brand started with a capital of 2 million yen. Just one year later, it was increased by another million, and by the end of the decade, it had reached 9 million. This is the best testament to how well the company was prospering. By the end of the 1970s, the company already had 4 factories under its belt and a capital of 11 million yen. Positive feedback from satisfied knife users also emerged.
