Zakuri Knives
Zakuri knives are handmade in the Tosa area by young talented blacksmiths. These knives are produced using Aogami #1 carbon steel with a Kurouchi finish, which helps protect the blade from dulling and patina. The blades of these beautiful knives are hardened to a level of 62-64 HRC.
This is a very affordable series of knives, offering excellent steel and cutting properties combined with a classic finish. The very comfortable and handy D-shaped handle is made of chestnut wood.
Zakuri knives require drying after each use because they are not stainless.
