The Gyuto knife, whose blade is 21 cm, comes from the Mcusta Zanmai Damascus Corian series. It is the Japanese version of the well-known classic-style chef’s knife and, as a multifunctional knife, it handles many tasks during kitchen work. The Mcusta Zanmai Damascus Corian series presents durable and aesthetically made kitchen knives, whose blades have an exceptionally hard core (reaching 61 +/- 1 HRC – the result of an excellent hardening process). The core made of VG-10 steel is surrounded by consecutive layers of beautiful Damascus steel. There are a total of 32 of them. A unique pattern is visible on the surface of this steel. A characteristic feature of this series is also the thin blades – a kind of hallmark of the Mcusta company – which allow for very precise and pleasant work during daily slicing of products. The blades maintain their sharpness for a long time. It is also worth mentioning the ergonomic handle, which is made of light corian. This moisture-resistant material is also durable and strong. Three pins additionally strengthen this beautiful handle, which has a tasteful finish with a steel bolster. The sharpening of Mcusta Zanmai Damascus Corian knives is handled by the company’s experienced masters, which ensures them with incredible sharpness from the very first moments of use.
