The Hado Junpaku Urushi chef’s knife with a blade length of 240 mm is great for performing various tasks in the kitchen. It’s especially recommended for chopping and slicing large pieces of meat.
The series of high-quality Hado Junpaku knives is handmade by the best craftsmen. Yoshikazu Tanaka is responsible for forging the blades, while Tadataka Maruyama is responsible for finishing and sharpening. Stainless steel cladding surrounds a strong core made of carbon steel called Shirogami#1 (or White#1). During hardening, the hardness of each blade reaches a very high level, up to 63-64 HRC. The applied steel heat treatment along with the aforementioned hardening ensures great ease of sharpening, as well as excellent sharpness retention. The lacquered, octagonal handle is made of oak wood and looks exceptionally impressive.
Hado kitchen knives meet the needs of the most demanding chefs. This is an ideal option for both professionals and people who are passionate about culinary activities and admire the craftsmanship from the Land of the Rising Sun.
