The Deba knife is a traditional Japanese knife that also functions as a knife for filleting fish or poultry, a knife for portioning meat, and a versatile, lightweight cleaver. Sharpened on one side, it is fine enough to slice products into thin pieces and strong enough to cut through small bones. The relatively short blade allows for full control over the tool. The classic Japanese-style handle is very lightweight and fits the hand’s shape perfectly.
