In search of unique items, every collector will eventually come across limited edition series. To meet such needs, Mcusta has created a series of sets inspired by deities from Japanese mythology. The “Byakko” presented below is dedicated to the White Tiger – a mythical creature, one of the four Guardians of the Heavens. The wind was under its rule, and it was also responsible for the western quarter of the sky. Its incarnation created by Mcusta is a set of four knives created from excellent SPG2 powdered steel: – 11 cm Petty, a versatile, short knife for precise work – 18 cm Santoku, versatile, great for cutting vegetables or chopping herbs – 21 cm Gyuto, a long chef’s knife – 23 cm Kiritsuke, the longest in the set, an excellent choice for slicing large pieces of meat. The profiled handle is made of pearlescent acrylic, and the bolster and pommel are mirror-polished, which makes the set look very aesthetic. The unique look is completed by two mosaic pins. As for the presentation of the set – it is sold in a specially adapted, wooden box, equipped with a transport handle, with a separate drawer for each knife, a drawer with a large microfiber cloth and a card with the set’s serial number (one of fifty), which is also burned into the front of the box. By deciding to buy the White Tiger set, you are guaranteed that these are unique knives of the highest quality available on the market. Only 50 pieces of the set were made for the whole world, this piece has the number 28/50.
