The Japanese Shotoh knife from the Miyabi 5000MCD 67 series is an elegant and functional option for your kitchen. Its 14 cm blade has a unique, layered pattern that is characteristic of every knife in this series. The blade is made of exceptional MicroCarbide MC66 steel, surrounded by 132 layers of stainless steel, providing a hardness of 66 HRC, flexibility, and excellent sharpness. Thanks to the CRYODUR® process and the traditional Japanese Honbazuke method, the blade is incredibly precise. The D-shaped black ash handle provides a comfortable grip, and the decorative mosaic pins and steel bolster emphasize the knife’s Far Eastern character. The Shotoh knife is ideal for cutting and peeling fruits and vegetables and is an elegant addition to any kitchen setup. Hand washing and sharpening on a whetstone are recommended to keep the blade in perfect shape. Avoid using glass, ceramic, and stone cutting boards.
