Morihei Hishiboshi Nagura Fine

Morihei Hishiboshi Nagura Fine is an auxiliary abrasive stone designed for use with synthetic stones of lower and medium grit (recommended range: #1000–#4000). It is used for generating a sharpening slurry and reactivating the surface after flattening, which improves the effectiveness and smoothness of sharpening.

This stone was developed as a tool to support the Morihei Hishiboshi Hi series, but it is also compatible with other synthetic stones. It helps maintain a stable sharpening pace, improves the blade’s contact with the working surface, and supports uniform edge creation.
