Two different serrations mean that this ryoba type saw provides an optimal level of efficiency when cutting along and across the grain. This makes it the most universal saw, which is useful for carpentry and joinery work. The blade, which is slightly thicker, allows the saw to be guided without a spine, which means you can make deep cuts flush with the surface, without limiting the depth. On the other hand, the finer teeth, which are located near the handle, significantly facilitate the process of introducing the blade into the material. Thus, they provide the possibility of a progressive course of cutting force. The classic series of Japanese saws produced by the ZETSAW company has a rattan handle and a replaceable blade. Thanks to it, it is possible to efficiently ensure renewed, high sharpness, which cannot be said about the sharpening process (with such fine teeth it would take a very long time). It was this company that introduced saws with replaceable blades to the market. The series includes saws manufactured in standard versions, i.e., ryoba, dozuki, and kataba. Their characteristic feature is a thin blade (in the range of 0.3-0.5 mm), as well as a long service life and excellent sharpness.
