The Takamura Gyuto 180 mm Japanese kitchen knife is a classic chef’s knife. It is the perfect tool for performing most kitchen tasks.
The Takamura VG-10 series includes excellent, manually sharpened kitchen knives made of high-quality materials. They combine two most important features, i.e. usefulness and the highest level of craftsmanship. The core of each knife is forged from VG-10 stainless steel, which is surrounded by a protective soft steel. It is worth noting that VG-10 is a high-carbon steel that was designed specifically for the production of kitchen knives. It ensures the necessary sharpness, as well as the durability and resistance of the knives to discoloration. In addition, the blades are finished with the “Tsuchime” technique, which gives them a uniquely attractive look of hammered steel. Their hardness is 60-62 HRC. A special feature of the knives from this series are the very thin blades and the perfectly matched pakkawood handle. Each piece is packed in a nice gift box.
