The Tsunehisa Morado Nakiri knife, excellent for cutting and chopping vegetables, looks like a cleaver. However, unlike a cleaver, the Nakiri has a thin blade. Its length is 165 mm. The successful Tsunehisa Morado kitchen knife collection was created using valued carbon steel called Aogami Super. High durability and quality are not the only advantages of this professional series. The knives have a high level of sharpness, which they maintain for a long time, and are also characterized by cutting aggressiveness. Each core is made of the aforementioned Aogami Super steel, which is surrounded by cladding made of stainless steel. This increases the efficiency of kitchen activities, and also makes the Tsunehisa Morado knives very easy to care for. The hardness, reaching a range of 63 +/- 1 HRC, is in turn due to a special hardening process. The blade of the knives is protected by the traditional Kurouchi finish – the black part on its upper side additionally emphasizes the classic Japanese style. The manual Tsuchime forging process has left visible marks that distinguish these beautiful knives. What’s more, this prevents food from sticking to the blades. The oval handle is made of Morado rosewood, while the decorative ferrule is made of pakka wood.
