The universal Zakuri Gyuto 210 mm kitchen knife is used as a chef’s knife and is suitable for all kitchen tasks. It is a basic piece of equipment for both professionals and cooking amateurs. Zakuri knives are handmade in the Tosa region by young talented blacksmiths. Aogami #1 carbon steel with a Korouchi finish, which helps protect the blade from dulling and patina, was used to produce these knives. The blades of these beautiful knives have been hardened to 62-64 HRC. This is a very affordable series of knives, offering excellent steel and cutting properties combined with a classic finish. The very handy D-shaped handle is made of chestnut wood. Zakuri knives require drying after each use because they are not stainless.
