The Zakuri Kurouchi Sujihiki knife, designed for cutting thin slices of fish and meat, has a narrow and 240 mm long blade. It is especially useful where high precision is important. Zakuri kitchen knives are the result of the manual work of young and talented blacksmiths from the Tosa region. They are made of carbon steel, whose name is Aogami #1, and the special Kurouchi finish protects the hard blades from patina and tarnishing. They have been hardened to a high level of 62-64 HRC. The affordable knife collection combines the use of excellent steel and cutting properties with a classic character. The handle is D-shaped and fits very comfortably in the hand. It is made of chestnut wood. Since Zakuri knives are not stainless, they must be dried after each use.
