The Suncraft MU Bamboo 2-piece knife set in an elegant cardboard box includes two key kitchen tools. The first is a chef’s knife with a length of 20 cm, and the second is a Japanese Santoku knife with a 16.7 cm blade. The MU BAMBOO knife collection was created by the Italian design duo – Nunzia Paola Carallo and Jacopo Romano Grandis, known in the world of design under the brand Carallo-Grandis. These knives are recommended by Pietro Leemann, chef and owner of the renowned Joia restaurant in Milan.
MU BAMBOO knives are made of the highest quality Japanese molybdenum-vanadium steel, hardened to a hardness of 58-59 HRC. The handles of these knives are made of traditional, carbonized bamboo, which is a tribute to Japanese nature, as bamboo is widely found in Japan.
The MU series was created with inspiration from modern fusion cuisine, which is why Carallo-Grandis designed knives typical of both European cuisine and classic Japanese tools, such as the Santoku or Sashimi. The entire collection is a perfect combination of Italian design and Japanese precision.
