The Masahiro set in a decorative packaging contains knives: MSC Gyuto 18 cm, MSC Bunka 16 cm and MSC Paring 12 cm. This is a complete set that should be in every kitchen, and packed in an elegant box it is an excellent choice for a gift. The chef’s knife is one of the most frequently chosen tools by both professional chefs and cooking amateurs. Its classic shape, originating from French cuisine, works well in many kitchen tasks. The light construction and well-balanced handle guarantee comfort and precision during cutting or chopping. Bunka is a versatile knife with a wide, slightly rounded blade, ideal for a variety of kitchen tasks. Its characteristic shape with an inverted tanto profile gives the blade a nimble tip and an aesthetic look. It can effectively replace a chef’s knife or santoku. Paring 12 cm is a smaller version of a chef’s knife, excellent for precise tasks, such as peeling vegetables and fruits.

Masahiro MSC is a series of knives designed for home users. Instead of many specialized models, you will find basic kitchen tools in it, such as a chef’s knife, santoku and a small utility knife. The offer also includes a traditional Japanese nakiri knife, intended for cutting vegetables.

The MBS-26 steel used for the production of knives in this series is a unique alloy containing carbon (0.85-1.00%), chromium (13-15%) and molybdenum, manganese and vanadium. Thanks to a special heat treatment, which includes a three-stage process of hardening, cooling at a very low temperature and tempering, the steel reaches a hardness of 58-59 HRC. The secret of this technology is known only to the owner of the company, the Hattori family. The knives made of this steel are distinguished by extraordinary sharpness and long-lasting aggressiveness of the cutting edge, which has gained recognition among users all over the world. MBS-26 is a stainless steel, resistant to reactions with acidic products, while maintaining its appearance and taste. It is easy to keep the knives in good condition – just wash them in lukewarm water with dish soap and dry them after washing.

The handle made of pakkawood was precisely shaped and carefully finished, which makes the knife lie comfortably in the hand, and working with it is comfortable and pleasant.
