The Miyagoshi PA #220<\/strong> flattening stone is a specialized tool designed to maintain the flatness of sharpening stones. Made by Miyagoshi Seito (\u5bae\u8d8a\u88fd\u9676)<\/strong> in Kyoto, it\u2019s created through a vitrified sintering process with high porosity, which significantly speeds up and simplifies the flattening of stones\u2014even harder ones and those with a finer grit.<\/p>\n

It uses high-quality Pink Alumina (PA), which ensures uniform abrasion without the risk of damaging the working surface of the sharpening stones. The stone is safe to use with sharpeners with a grit of #220 and above, making it a universal tool for stone maintenance.<\/p>\n
