Masahiro knife set from the MSC line, packed in a decorative box, includes a MSC 18 cm chef's knife and a MSC Santoku 16.5 cm knife. It is an excellent combination of basic tools that should be found in every kitchen. Packed in an aesthetic box, they make a perfect gift idea.

The chef's knife is one of the most popular knives chosen by professional chefs and cooking enthusiasts. Its shape, derived from French cuisine, makes it extremely versatile. The lightweight construction and well-balanced handle guarantee comfort during work, allowing smooth, rhythmic slicing and chopping.

Santoku is a classic Japanese knife, equivalent to the chef's knife in Western cuisine. Its name, "three advantages," refers to the versatility of this tool, which is perfect for slicing, chopping, and cutting into slices. Its unique design combines features of a chef's knife with a cleaver, making it an indispensable kitchen tool.

Masahiro MSC is a series of knives designed with home users in mind. Instead of many specialized models, it includes basic kitchen tools such as a chef's knife, Santoku, and a small utility knife. The offer also includes the traditional Japanese nakiri knife, intended for cutting vegetables.

The MBS-26 steel used to produce knives in this series is a unique alloy containing carbon (0.85-1.00%), chromium (13-15%), as well as molybdenum, manganese, and vanadium. Thanks to special heat treatment, which includes a three-stage hardening process, cooling at very low temperatures, and tempering, the steel achieves a hardness of 58-59 HRC. The secret of this technology is known only to the company owner, the Hattori family. Knives made from this steel are distinguished by extraordinary sharpness and long-lasting cutting edge aggressiveness, which has gained recognition from users worldwide. MBS-26 belongs to stainless steels, resistant to reactions with acidic products, preserving its appearance and taste. Maintaining the knives in good condition is easy – just wash them in warm water with dish soap and dry after washing.

The handle made of rosewood is perfectly shaped and finished, making the held knife feel like a natural extension of the hand, and the work becomes easy and very pleasant.
