These beautiful boards owe their black color to the Japanese shou sugi ban technique of charring wood with fire. Shou sugi Ban is a completely natural technique, and we did not use any dyes or varnishes. The milled edges give it a modern look, and the black color of the oak wood beautifully contrasts with the shine of fresh fish and rice. In addition to serving sushi, it is also great for serving delicious snacks and tapas. The product is handmade from natural oak wood, so its shade and pattern may differ from the product photo.
