The Nakiri 17 cm is a traditional Japanese vegetable knife, featuring a straight, wide blade that allows for quick and precise chopping and slicing. Thanks to its geometry, it provides full contact with the cutting board, eliminating the need to “rock” the knife.
High-quality VG-10 steel, a hardness of 61+/-1 HRC, and a hammered Tsuchime finish make the knife incredibly sharp, rust-resistant, and easy to maintain. The smooth surface reduces sticking, and the double-bevel sharpening guarantees comfortable use. The handle is made of lacquered oak with an ergonomic, octagonal shape, providing comfort and control.
