Deba is a traditional Japanese knife that is used primarily in the kitchen for cutting fish, but also for slicing meat. It is available in many size variants, from 12 to 30 cm, which allows it to be adapted to various kitchen needs. Its cutting edge is characterized by exceptional durability, which allows for effortless cutting of fish heads or slicing through small bones. The Deba knife is single-sidedly sharpened, which ensures precision when filleting or portioning. The knives from this series are made of MBS-26 steel, a derivative of VG-10 steel, enriched with molybdenum and vanadium. They undergo a three-stage hardening process, reaching a hardness of 58-59 HRC, which makes them incredibly sharp and durable. Each blade is ground with the highest precision by artisans with over 30 years of experience, which ensures the excellent quality and functionality of the knife. The knife’s handle is made of light magnolia wood, which in combination with a plastic ring, provides a durable and comfortable-to-use construction. The precisely made details of the handle ensure a secure grip and comfort even during long hours of work in the kitchen. Note! Knives from the MS-8 series may have two types of markings: with inscriptions in the Japanese or Latin alphabet. This version is for left-handed people! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wb-ZTJIz9e8
