The universal Tsunehisa Nami Gyuto Nami knife, with a blade length of 210 mm, is perfect for tasks related to preparing meat and fish, as well as vegetables. This Japanese kitchen knife will be appreciated by all people who are looking for a good tool for slicing and kitchen activities with larger pieces of meat. The Nami knife collection is created by hand forging in the Tosa region, in the Land of the Rising Sun. For the production of the blades, a beautifully looking 33-layer Damascus steel was used. The core of the blades, on the other hand, is made of AUS-10 stainless steel, which is characterized by very good sharpness retention and is extremely durable. As a result of hardening, the hardness of the knives reaches a high level in the range of 61 +/- 1 HRC. The aesthetic Damascus pattern evokes associations with sea waves, and this is where the name of the Nami collection (“wave”) was taken from. The high-gloss finish further gives the blades a unique look. The knives have an octagonal handle made in a traditional Japanese style from only one piece of Japanese oak.
